Minecraft is an endless font of possibilities, with there being maps created ever day that push the boundary of what you can do with the game. There are story driven fantasy maps, massive open world sci-fi maps and many others. One popular subgenre of Minecraft maps are Parkour maps. These maps give you a ton of different obstacles that require you to know the mechanics of the game to proceed on, as well as being able to make very precise jumps. One of the better ones is Assassin's Creep.
Installing Assassin's Creep is simple, just drag it into your Minecraft maps folder and load it up.
The main objective of this map is simple. You have to find every single wool block on the map, each of which are locked behind a parkour challenge. That isn't it, however. Once you've collected all 9, you'll be able to enter the final dungeon, which is a mishmash of all the different parkour techniques you had to use to get there in the first place.
There are also a bunch of different collectibles to find around the map as well, which both take cues from Assassin's Creed. There are hidden feathers and special wanted posters - you don't really get anything for grabbing them, but it's still there if you want to 100% it.
All in all, Assassin's Creep is a well known Parkour map for a reason. It's a very good map with a great aesthetic, and if that sounds appealing to you at all, you should give it a download.
