Minecraft is a game with limitless potential. While people constantly push the boundaries with mods adding more and more gameplay features to the point where it can straight up turn into a strategy game or just flat out be a very functional MMORPG. However, there is a ton of things that can be done with vanilla Minecraft to this day. In fact, new things are still being added to Minecraft to this day. One of them is Collectibles, a mod that adds collectibles like those from open world games into Minecraft.

Installing Collectibles is simple. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed, then navigate to your mods folder and drag it in.

This mod will add a ton of collectibles to the game that will tickle your completionist tendencies. There will now be a lot of very rare items that can only be found by mining certain blocks. You can come across coins, books, or gems which you can convert into loot bags for another surprise. There are nine different kinds of coins for you to collect.

The gems and books also all have different tiers to them and will also give far more valuable loot bags such as netherite ingots, totems, or even end crystals. If you go after collectibles, you can be much stronger than most people without even setting foot in another dimension.

That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to just how much this mod adds to the game. Collectibles is a great mod that gives you more options and you should give it a shot if you're a Minecraft fan.
