Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. The sound design is the same as practically every other Ena Game Studio game - the background music fits into the setting great and, while jarring at times, usually enhances the experience. The sound effects sound like they come from a cartoon for children. It's a very jarring contradiction.

This game is much like the typical ENA game studio fare - you need to find certain items and use them in such a way that you can escape from an area. There's not a lot of pixel hunting, which is great.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Comforting The Old Man is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
