Dead End Episode 07: Liam's House Review

Warning: You need to have a program capable of running an SWF file to play this game. You can click here to find one such program right here on our website.

Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Ena Game Studio being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Dead End Episode 07: Liam's House.

To play Dead End Episode 07: Liam's House, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

Unlike many other games from Ena Game Studio, this game doesn't spam ads at you at every turn, letting you stay focused on the game and get immersed in the world. However, the story still needs some heavy editing for proper grammar.

Unfortunately, it has the same flaw as many ENA games, where the music and sound effects clash with each other. The music is dark and sounds like it's from a crime thriller, but the sound effects sound cheery and out of a cartoon. It's incredibly distracting. Speaking of distracting, there's also voice acting, but it's low quality enough that I genuinely can't be sure if it's a text-to-speech program or not.

The puzzles themselves, however, are fairly well designed and all have a logical flow and progression that many other flash games tend to lack.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Dead End Episode 07: Liam's House is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
