Bungie, for better or worse, has made genre defining games. Halo defined console FPSes for generations to come, with its two weapon system, special melee and grenade buttons, and bullet magnetism opening the gate for console FPSes to take the forefront. Now, it seems that they've defined another modern genre - one that's slightly controversial. They've defined what a live service game is with their Destiny franchise, with the latest being Destiny 2.
To install Destiny 2, you must have Steam installed. Once you have it installed, go to this link to install it.
One thing to note about Destiny 2 is that it has the best gunplay in a free to play game. Bungie was renowned for the Halo franchise and they brought their expert touch to enhance Destiny 2's gunplay to feel impactful and just difficult enough to reward skill but easy enough to not heavily penalize you for being a subpar aimer.
The gameplay loop is very much like other live service games. It's designed to keep you coming back by limiting the amount of things you can do per day or week. Once you finish the story, you'll find that the gameplay is focused on grinding for new gear via a ton of different activities so you can tackle some of the endgame content.
This can get a little bit repetitive, but if you enjoy the gameplay, then you don't need to worry. There's a ton of stuff to chase after. If that appeals to you, then give Destiny 2 a download!
