Friday Night Funkin' was a smash hit when it came out over a year ago, and took the gaming scene by storm. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. Even now, its modding community is still going strong for a good reason. The incredible modability along with the relatively simple engine lends it incredibly well to modders. The community has created some amazing mods, and one of the best one out there is Friday Night Funkin': Vs. Hope.

To install Friday Night Funkin': Vs. Hope, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod features just a single song, but each of the different difficulties has their own unique gimmick. To mention more would be spoilers, but rest assured, this makes the one song feel different enough each time to make me not miss the typical three songs in a week. This is an extremely unique approach that you won't find much in the modding scene.

This mod also uses the Psych engine, meaning most of the hit registration issues that you'll find in the base unmodded vanilla game that are rampant are fixed. You won't find any random misses on notes you clearly hit and your stats will also be tracked live in the bottom.
