Mr Maim 1.0

Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is Mr Maim, which is a unique first person shooter where you control a clown with hilarious mime weapons.

To play Mr Maim, simply run the executable after unzipping it to a folder.

This game is very straightforward. It starts off with over 200 clowns on the map, all of who shoot colorful balls of paint right at you. As a mime, having color is absolutely a no-go, and you need to defend yourself. You have no weapons, but the weapons you mime are just as effective!

The main draw of this game is how full of personality the animations are. When the mime pulls a mime grenade, he will count down exactly when the grenade will go off with his fingers. He has a dedicated taunt button that will drive the enemies insane where he mockingly waves at them and makes nonthreatening finger guns right at them. Without guns, the developers had to work over time to make up for the lack of personality they give and in my opinion, they more than made up for it.

All in all, if you want to play a game with an incredibly unique premise, then you should give Mr Maim a download.
