Penumbra 1.0

Penumbra could be described as both a horror game and a puzzle game however the emphasis is mostly on puzzles, but with a constant sense of tension and that something bad might happen at any moment.

You start out at some kind of excavation in a snowy blizzard atmosphere and after exploring around the excavation site you will find an opening that will lead you down a tunnel and on a huge an adventure that will lead you to some surprising places and areas.

Sometimes you will find you have reached a dead end but clues are given and you may just need to walk in a certain pattern or direction and a certain amount of times to unlock the next pathway, but do not stop moving or something may catch you!

Penumbra is an interesting game with the sound effects and music adding to the tense atmosphere, the walking puzzles are an unusual mechanic although at times can be come a little tedious, this isn't the kind of game where you just run from an enemy but where you need to find the correct patterns to unlock and make sure that you keep moving to stay safe.
