Sanix the Edgehog 1.3

Sanix the Edgehog is a fan made game and you can probably guess from the name which game it is a parody of. It’s kind of silly but it’s actually very well made and is a lot of fun however something doesn’t feel right about playing this with a mouse and keyboard it surely would be much more enjoyable with a controller, the problem with playing with the mouse and keyboard is that the camera angles don’t change automatically you must do this manually with your mouse which can take some of the enjoyment away from a game which you can see was clearly designed to be played at top speed and while it really does embody the essence of the original Sonic the Hedgehog games some things seem just a little off, such as collecting the rings, if you don’t line up your Edgehog perfectly with the rings then he will not collect them which can be quite time consuming if you’re obsessed with collecting as many rings as possible as you have to go back and cover parts of the levels you have already done. The game is a lot of fun though based over three levels and a finale facing the evil Dr.Robatnix this is a game that a lot of players looking for a blast of Sonic nostalgia with a new and different twist should enjoy greatly.

Sanix the Edgehog is fun and short enough to zoom through it within a short space of time but there are some parts that can be rather frustrating however as a fan made game it really is an impressive effort.
