Save the Date is a strange game but you will soon find yourself replaying it over and over to try to find the right combination to progress, you see on your date things never quite seem to go to plan and for one reason or another it nearly always ends in tragedy and just when you think you have got a little further than before suddenly a new fresh way for everything to go badly appears.
The developers must be respected for some of the incredible ways they have come up to find different means of death for you or for your date, however after you have tried some of the options when you return to the same scenario you may be given a different option for example if your date happens to get shot in one incident should you choose to replay the same scenario you can advise her to duck, although this may cause your date to be suspicious as to how you knew these things were going to happen.
The game is not particularly large and even with lots of scenarios that can (and will) go awry you can complete it in around an hour which is probably a good thing as after a couple of fatal dates you will want to keep returning if not out of sheer determination to reach the end but at least to see how many more creative ways your date may end in tragedy.
Save the Date will make you laugh but also make you desperate to try to get to the end of the game and it’s certainly worth playing and it won’t take too much time up in your day.
