Soaring Structures 2 2.0

Minecraft is a game with limitless potential. While people constantly push the boundaries with mods adding more and more gameplay features to the point where it can straight up turn into a strategy game or just flat out be a very functional MMORPG. However, there is a ton of things that can be done with vanilla Minecraft to this day. In fact, new things are still being added to Minecraft to this day. One of them is Soaring Structures 2, a mod that generates a ton of floating islands around the map that's packed with items.

Installing Soaring Structures 2 is simple. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed, then navigate to your mods folder and drag it in.

The mod does exactly what it says on the surface. From a distance, they look empty, but once you actually manage to get on them, you'll find a ton packed into them. For instance, some of them have ruins with a ton of goodies for you to plunder, and a ton of them have hidden dungeons inside them with a ton of treasures.

Some islands have some extra atmosphere like frozen waterfalls. In fact, some even have villages going about their normal daily lives. And most interestingly,  you can find islands with towers on them that have tons of enemy mobs guarding important treasure. This mod adds a ton of adventure to your game.

Soaring Structures 2 is a mod that gives you a lot more options in gameplay and you should give it a shot if you're a Minecraft fan.
