In many ways, the Flash game industry is a precursor to the mobile game industry. For instance, all those physics puzzle games that have flooded the mobile market? It has its roots in Flash games and it's doubtful that the games would have their physics puzzles as fleshed out as they were at launch if the way wasn't paved. Steampunk is sone of those physic puzzle games.

To play Steampunk, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

Your goal is very simple. You have to get the good guy on to the ground safely and knock the bad guy off the stage. You can remove wooden blocks with a click of the mouse and also click on blocks marked with bombs that do exactly what you'd think they do.

Of course, things get a lot more complicated very quickly. You have to deal with rolling steel balls, falling crates, a ton of dangerous traps, and a ton of other obstacles.

This gives you a ton of different levels to work through. There are timing based levels where you have to time bomb explosions with some blocks that drop down from the top of the screen. There's an easy reset button that's easily accessible.

All in all, if you really like puzzle games, then you should definitely give Steampunk a download.
