Friday Night Funkin' was a smash hit when it came out over a year ago, and took the gaming scene by storm. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. Even now, its modding community is still going strong for a good reason. The incredible modability along with the relatively simple engine lends it incredibly well to modders. The community has created some amazing mods, but not all of them were created in a day. Some of them are simply demos of what's to come. One of them is Vs. Dave and Bambi: Pineapple Edition.

This mod is an odd one. The charting is an amalgamation of a ton of different charting tropes that have been steadily growing more and more prominent in FNF mods recently. There's some ridiculously difficult charting that doesn't feel like it's intended to be fair, some cinematic notes that are only there to help set a mood, and some charts that are questionable.

Nevertheless, the mod is carried by the personality in its characters. All your opponents are in 3D, which really helps on some of the creepier songs. The songs themselves feel very on brand for all the characters as well.
