2D-Craft Mod 1.4.1

2D-Craft Mod for Minecraft is a mod that turns Minecraft game-play into a 2D perspective. Adding the 2D-Craft Mod for Minecraft is almost like playing an entirely different game altogether, giving you the perspective you would normally expect from a game like the classic Mario Bros. 

2D-Craft Mod for Minecraft requires you to start a new world, and run the mod exclusively in that world. You play Minecraft from a side perspective in a world two blocks thick. This allows you to dig as far as you wish into the world to get the elements you need to further build your house or community. 

This mod is ideal for those who enjoy playing games with the retro side perspective you grew to love in classics like Super Mario Bros and Sonic the Hedgehog. You get all of the features from the normal Minecraft - all of the dungeons, elements, and towns still appear in this 2D world.

However, the downside of this mod is that you currently have to force downgrade your Minecraft to version 1.3.2 since development has been postponed on this mod until further notice. Though, a simple Google search will allow you to find the necessary resources to downgrade your Minecraft to version 1.3.2. 

If you are a fan of the 2D perspective in classic games and would like to try Minecraft with this perspective, it might be worth it for you to go through the effort of creating a separate installation of Minecraft, downgrading it to version 1.3.2, and installing this mod. It definitely added an interesting, fun twist to the game you've gotten used to in the first person.
