Adrian 1.0

Adrian is a narrative driven game set in the trenches of World War 1 where you wander through the trenches as courier and have conversations with many other men whose lives have been transformed by the war.

They tell you about their role in the war now, whether it be a sniper or simply a coward and what they were before they were called up to service, how they miss their home towns and many other snippets of information.

Adrian is a strange game, because although being technically a war game it is not action packed and comes over more as an educational game which in a way is no bad thing it’s very interesting to see in to these people’s lives and we would be curious to find out if the developer’s sources are taken from history or simply fictional, the problem is after 15 minutes of wandering around the same looking trenches and reading walls of texts, with all respect it can become somewhat tedious and it would have been nice if there was something more just to keep the player involved.

An intriguing game but not one that will be to everyone’s tastes.
