Cheatin' Hitman 1.0

Cheatin’ Hitman is a fun little game made for a recent game jam, you play as a hitman and podcaster who has had a change of heart about killing people for a living however if he quits his job he will be terminated and we’re led to believe that’s not his contract that will be terminated but our protagonist himself so to keep himself and his targets alive he decides to start faking the deaths of his intended victims so after releasing them from the bag you have placed them in you must then explain the situation to the target and then you need to set up a believable studio set that will please your employers requests in line with the hit whether that may be making it look like you have drowned someone in a lake or poisoned them in an alleyway.

The art is simple yet inviting and the game is actually a lot more fun than the premise may sound, it can be very satisfying to set up a believable murder scene. After you have everything in place in your scene you will need to send photographic evidence to your employer and then fingers crossed you will receive an email showing they are satisfied with your work. At the end of the photo shoot you will also need to decide whether you just send your “victim” on their way or buy them a plane ticket to make sure they’re not seen again and don’t blow your cover.

Cheatin’ Hitman is sadly very short but the 10 minutes or so of free entertainment is very enjoyable, you can download Cheatin’ Hitman here for free.
