Downloading videos off of Youtube is bizarrely difficult. Yes, Youtube mobile lets you download files and watch them offline, but that feature seems to be totally missing on their actual website. It's rather baffling why they seem to refuse to add it to the feature to the website, but the community has decided to take  There are tons of programs out there that let you do exactly that, and ClipGrab is one of them.

To install ClipGrab, simply run the installer. You'll have to allow the program to download a separate tool to download Youtube videos as well.

This program doesn't only work with Youtube - it also works with Vimeo and Dailymotion. One of the best features this program has is the integrated search feature. That means that you can download videos without even switching to your browser, which is an incredibly underrated feature on most of these downloaders.

There are also several different ways to download the videos you want. You can also use the traditional clipboard method if you want, and just paste the link into the app. Once it's analyzed the link you've added, it will ask you to specify a format for the download. You can pick between a couple of formats, such as WMV, MPEG4, and OGG video formats. You also have the option of downloading an audio-only version of files. You can also choose the resolution of the video.

All in all, ClipGrab is a fantastic program that will streamline pretty much all your video downloading.
