File 1.0

File is a point and click horror adventure game where you play as a young woman named Raven who seems to have an unwanted guest trying to get her to play a game with him on the computer, there is also platform elements to the game where you will have to guide a miniature version of yourself through a world within your computer where you will meet other people who will say fairly cryptic things to you although start to become clearer and darker as you get deeper in to the game.

File is a very intriguing game and quite an ambitious one as it takes those ever popular ideas as seen in games like Emily is Away or Sara is Missing where they break the fourth wall and you play as a character who is playing a game or checking their own emails as you watch as their story unfolds.

However with File there are some problems the game has a tendency to stop and not continue when it’s far from the end and the story is just getting interesting based on this it’s quite hard to review the game as a whole as it became stuck in the same place on numerous occasions and although it shows a lot of promise these bugs really need to be worked out to make this a much more enjoyable gaming experience.
