HandCop Prototype

Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is HandCop, which is a shooter game where you play as a sentient, walking hand with a gun and a cop radio. 

To play HandCop, simply run the executable after unzipping it to a folder.

In this game, you play as a hand who is a cop. Your name is Michael McWrist as he's sent out on calls on the dangerous streets of LA with a partner over the radio. 

It is a hilarious premise and a fantastic gimmick. The hand has to constantly swap from a radio to a gun while he's talking to his partner in cutscenes. The camera is incredibly close to the ground and you have to aim up at your enemies because you're just a hand walking around on his pinky and ring finger.

Your greatest asset is your agility. You can activate a bullet-time ability and your ability to nimbly navigate through a hail of bullets is endlessly fun.

...The hail may be a bit too much at the moment, though, especially considering you can only take one hit before you die due to a lack of redundant circulatory systems.

All in all, if you want to play a game with an incredibly unique premise, then you should give HandCop a download.
