HUMAN is a psychological horror game and goodness does it live up to its billing, as you make your way through an Alaskan research center in search of employees and to collect some other items that you have been advised to however when you enter the center things aren’t exactly as they seem and you are going to be in for some surprises.
The psychological aspect of the game becomes more apparent as you get deeper in to the facility and things start to become weirder, although the game really doesn’t need it there is also a couple of jump scares which will make you jump out of your seat as you won’t be expecting them (I certainly didn’t), and you start to hear voices, is it your own conscience or is it something else? You begin to question what is real and what is not and as the voice you can hear becomes stranger and more profound and then things get really weird and really dark, but to go further in to detail would spoil just what a great free game this is.
Perhaps I am biased as this is pretty much my favorite genre of game but HUMAN really is a great and dark game that will provide you scares both of the psychological and jump out your seat kind, but beware this game is not for the faint of heart.
The only one bad thing about this game is it’s a bit short but it really is scary and fantastic.
