DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything. From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods and maps that can all do different things. Some of these things are compiled together to create a massive user made campaign, and some have even made a series of them. One entry into such a series is Infinity.
To install Infinity, you need to have ZDoom and move the WAD file into the GZDoom folder, which is pretty par for the course for DOOM maps.
This has many features it shares with the previous entries. There are music replacements, lines that block monster movement and goofy mazes. Finally, they made sure that every map is compostable with a pistol start this time, unlike the previous entries.
One other thing it shares with previous entries is that there are no secret levels, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at things. You'll also find that this is the most refined entry in the Serenity trilogy. Their previous experience really shows, as the final level melds the best part of previous levels, with solid design and well as beautiful architecture.
All in all, Infinity is a very solid megaWAD. If you want to experience the end of a trilogy, then you should definitely give it a download - there's no reason to miss out.
