DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything. From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods and maps that can all do different things. Some of these things are compiled together to create a massive user made campaign. One of the many is No End In Sight.
To install No End In Sight, you need to have ZDoom and move the WAD file into the GZDoom folder, which is pretty par for the course for DOOM maps.
There is a framing narrative, but it's mere lip service. Basically, demons are back and you have to wipe out every single demon you can find. This pack states that the demons have hidden in some of the most secluded areas in existence to hide from you, so you'll be exploring darker, nastier places than ever before.
This megaWAD is much harder than the original DOOM in both combat and level design. If you're looking for nostalgia, the first two episodes will serve you well, but there will be a twisted evil genius in the levels afterwards haunting you. The main threat here is that you may be peppered with hitscan fire.
Overall, No End In SIght is a very competently made megaWAD that will take you to locales that you've never seen in a DOOM game before. Give it a download!
