Nightmare Date 1.0

Nightmare Date is a visual novel and dating simulator although the focus is far more the visual novel part of the game rather than a dating simulator, there is also a lot of bad language and depending on which story line you take during the multiple choice parts.

There is quite a few bits where you get to make choices which always makes visual novels a bit more of an interactive experience and because they can lead to different outcomes to the game. The overall visuals and graphics are enjoyable if not particularly original.

The game features some interesting characters and at some points you may have to choose which of them to save however picking the wrong one may lead to both of you dying and on to a game over so you will have to think tactically rather than just who’s your favorite.

Nightmare Date is going to appeal to those of you who love visual novels and can’t get enough of them however if you’re looking for a dating simulator you might be a little disappointed as it definitely follows a more traditional route and some characters are much easier to like than others but those won’t necessarily be the characters who will help you survive the nightmare.
