How to Use Popcorn Time

Welcome to the Rockybytes how to use Popcorn Time tutorial. In this guide you will learn how to download your first movie and begin watching it using Popcorn Time. This process can also be used to download your favorite music and TV shows using Popcorn Time.

First, once you have completed installing Popcorn Time and opened it for the first time, you should be at the main menu of the "Movies" category:

Here, I am going to choose a movie that I want to watch. Once I click on the movie I want to watch, Popcorn Time will open up information on the movie that I want to see and a short summary of the movie:

If you think you have found the movie or show that you would like to watch, click on "Watch Now" to start the initial downloading process of the movie:

Popcorn Time attempts to stream these torrent files of these movies and shows, so after you select "Watch Now" Popcorn Time will download the beginning of the movie for you and depending on your Internet connection should not have to wait very long depending on the file size of the movie or show:

Once Popcorn Time is finished downloading the beginning of the movie, the movie will start automatically. While you are watching the movie, Popcorn Time will continue downloading the movie in the background as you watch it:

That's really all there is to it! This tutorial is the same for all files that you will download using Popcorn Time, except when you are downloading audio files you do not get any video - but we would expect that. I hope this guide helped jump-start your Popcorn Time addiction. Enjoy!
