Low-budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to dazzle the audience with beautiful graphics, they instead need to focus on something else to stand out. These restrictions can lead to some very creative premises. Let's look at ROCHE LIMIT.

To install ROCHE LIMIT, simply unzip the files inside the archive into any folder you want.

The very pitch of the game is incredibly intriguing. Can you create a good horror game from Powerpoint? Shockingly, the answer seems to be yes, through some magical programming skills. 

This game runs exclusively on pixel art and some shortcuts that you have to click on to progress. This is basically a point-and-click pixel game, and it's put together well enough that you might even forget that it's all inside some Powerpoint presentation.

The story is very difficult to put together, but judging from the general gist of it, it seems to revolve around you playing as a character who's trying to prevent the doom of either you or the entire race. It's very much one of those stories where you try to piece everything together yourself.

Whatever the story is, the pixel art and sound design are both incredibly consistent all throughout. I'm not sure what kind of demonic ritual was conducted to give a PowerPoint game a better presentation than a lot of indie games nowadays, but it was very much worth it.

All in all, ROCHE LIMIT is an incredibly unique game that everybody should check out.
