For most people, the built-in security program that their OS provides is more than enough for their purposes. However, for more advanced users, there are a ton of things to consider when selecting your anti-malware program. There are factors such as resources consumption, scan speed, detection ratio, firewall, anti-phishing, and real-time protection. SecureAPlus simplifies that process by making itself very solid in all those regards, and by combining twelve different antivirus programs into itself: AVG, Avira, BitDefender, ClamWin, ESET, Emsisoft, McAfee, Microsoft Security Essentials, Norman, Quick Heal, Sophos, and Total Defense. That's a whole ton of programs, and you can have it recognize more by using a list of trusted programs.
SecureAPlus is cloud-based, which is both a pro and a con. On the plus side, it can access the cloud to constantly update its own databases and protect you from all the latest threats. However, it also means that it requires an active Internet connection to work. There is an offline installer, but it's slightly less effective than the online version. Do note, however, that being offline would by itself protect your computer as well, so it evens out.
In my test, I downloaded an archive that contained approximately 300 pretty benign viruses. As soon as I extracted them, the real-time protection picked them up and removed them. I ran it a few more times to ensure saturation, and by the end, it had removed 278 of them. That's a very high success rate. SecureAPlus is a solid program that I can recommend to anyone.
