Silver Key 5.2.2

People have adapted extremely quickly to the advent of the internet. Nowadays, accessing the internet at all opens you up to a large amount of risk, such as somebody stealing your data or personal information. While many of these risks can be mitigated with good habits, there's little that's as effective as a special piece of security software. One of them is Silver Key. With this piece of software, you don't need to worry about anybody stealing your emails.

When you boot it up, you'll notice that there are a ton of options. They're put into three different categories - Encryption, Decryption, and Miscellaneous. The first two categories are self-explanatory. There are a few options hidden within, but it generally boils down to "encrypt your files with the various options and decrypt files that are encrypted with Silver Key". 

Going into the Miscellaneous section reveals some more interesting options. The option that leaped out to me the most was "Passwords" and "Shredder". Password does exactly what it says - let you generate a password to secure your files with. You can pass this along to your recipients so you don't even need to even encrypt your file if you don't want to. It's recommended, of course, but simply having a password is much better than nothing. File Shredder lets you shred files after you're done with them, leaving no trace of it on your system to be tracked. This is a very thorough deletion - I couldn't find any trace of a dummy file I tested it on even in the reg files.
