Sonic The Hedgehog (Over Boyfriend) 2.0

Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. This has led to a ton of mods that propose alternate universes. One of the most fun and well-realized ones is the gender-bent universe. Sonic The Hedgehog (Over Boyfriend) is an entry in this universe.

To install Sonic The Hedgehog (Over Boyfriend), simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

Do note that the picture depicts all of the mods in this alternate universe already applied.

This mod is pretty straightforward - it replaces the boyfriend with Sonic the Hedgehog. The visual model is fantastic. The mod creator had a ton of love for the Sonic franchise and it very clearly shows. Sonic has a ton of different outfits for all the different weeks.

He's in a Christmas outfit for week 5, and for week 6, he's in his classic Sonic design just to fit into the pixel world. On top of that, the dialogue has been modified to more accurately portray Sonic's reaction to being in a dating sim.

In comparison to a lot of other Friday Night Funkin' mods so far, this visual makeover definitely has a ton of effort put into it. Sonic The Hedgehog (Over Boyfriend) is a fantastically fun visual mod that really brings Sonic the Hedgehog into the game.
