Once you boot the game up, there will be a very lengthy tutorial to help get you familiar with every mechanic and game flow. The game features turn-based combat and mild unit management. In combat, each unit gets a chance to move, attack, or cast a special ability, and these happen in sequence throughout the combat. Your goal is to jockey for a good position on the map so you can surround the enemy while also trying to minimize your own damage. 

That sounds intimidating, but it really isn't that complicated. Keep in mind that this is a very casual game - your tactical options are fairly limited by how simple the units are and how lacking they are in versatility. The game also features a single-player vs AI mode and multiplayer mode. There are a bunch of other features that make the game worth getting into, like clans and survival mode.

With so many different modes and approachable gameplay, you should give Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena a shot.
