Uncanny Valley 1.0.0

Uncanny Valley demo is one of those games that has the ability to look like it should have been made ten years ago but when you start playing you totally forget the eight bit graphics and become fully involved in the game, for a side scroller it also is very good at bringing the jump scares and there are a few surprises in store.

The game combines elements of horror and puzzles and problem solving whilst keeping the tension at full blast throughout.

The only bad thing about Uncanny Valley is how short the demo is and leaves you wanting more but if you do enjoy it, the full game is now available to buy on steam.

The graphics are rather retro but the game plays really well and sometimes the jump scares come at the most unlikely times which keeps you on your toes after you have been caught out once or twice and leaves you with that fun sense of fear of not knowing where the next jump scare will come from.

You can download the Uncanny Valley demo for free here but as advised at the start of the game it is best enjoyed in a dark room at night wearing headphones to heighten the sense of dread and enjoyment.
