Welcome Home 1.2

Welcome Home is a short horror visual novel game where you play as an absent father who returns to take care of his young daughter but all is not as it seems and when you return to your previous marital home to begin taking care of your daughter then things start to get very creepy and intriguing.

The animation style is all in black and white and adds to the overall creepiness of the game especially when one of the other characters smiles at you, as for the dialogue there’s a really good story to tell in Welcome Home, however some of the grammar is awful and whilst this won’t detract from your overall enjoyment and the creepy, interesting story hearing but it could have turned a god visual novel in to a great one (some odd lines of dialogue such as “on the bathroom” or “at her room” can be a little bit strange).

Overall this visual novel is definitely worth playing and there’s a great twist at the end of the story, it will only take about 10 or 15 minutes to play it all the way through but should please horror fans and visual novel fans alike.
