World of Warcraft is probably the most popular MMORPG of all times, and it's still going strong. With its popularity and easy modability, the player base has created a ton of different tools that help you streamline your gameplay experience. One of the more useful ones is Routes, a tool that will tell you exactly what route to take.
Installing Routes has a few more extra steps than normal. There are two addons that are required for you to use this - Cartographer or TomTom and Gatherer. Once you have those two, you can use this. To begin using this addon, you'll need to ensure that Gatherer is on, ensure you have uploaded all nodes from Wowhead through gatherer, and then type /routes in your chat box to pop up a UI.
Once that's done, click add, name the route, pick the zone you're in and what to calculate the route for (such as mining nodes or herbalism nodes) and then click the button that tells you to cluster. Set cluster diameter to 60 yards.
To test it out, I walked into the Shadowmoon valley. It ended up taking only 45 minutes to clear the whole valley of nodes, and I ended up with multiple stacks of Fel iron. All in all, if you're a person who prefers farming materials and not purchasing them off the market, then you should 100% pick Routes up. It optimizes the time spent easily, and it will streamline the process easily. There's no reason not to download this amazing addon.
