DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything. From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods and maps that can all do different things. One of the many is Big Boy.
To install Big Boy, you need to have ZDoom and move the WAD file into the GZDoom folder, which is pretty par for the course for DOOM maps.
The general feel of this map is very much like the early, unfocused DOOM custom levels. It spans a massive area but each section is somehow distinct from the others, and there's very little interconnectivity between the levels save for some windows. For example, you can peek into a future room from a small storage room early on and you can see where certain keys are.
There are a ton of health and ammo, and you won't have to worry about running out of ammunition ever. Once you reach the big showdown at the end, Paul will give you all the health, ammo, and weapons you'll ever need plus six invulnerability spheres. This map won't be a challenge for DOOM veterans, but it's still a ton of fun.
If you want to just kick back and murder some demons, then there aren't too many better options other than Big Boy. It may not be amazing design wise, but it sure is fun.
