BurnAware comes with plenty of different variety of discs you can burn. You can make DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, and boot discs in case you're trying to troubleshoot your computer. No matter which style of disc you're making, it's easy to find thanks to its interface. As soon as you boot it up, you'll be greeted with a number of options that are easy to understand, no nonsense about it. It doesn't look creative at all, but it gets the job done, which is high praise for an interface. BurnAware Free even lets you erase a disc that's been used before so you can turn it into something else. 

The speed isn't incredibly impressive or unimpressive. It took me about 5 minutes to burn a CD and 35 minutes to create a DVD disc. The speed will vary with the speed of your computer, so if you have a stronger CPU than I did, it should take you a lot less time.

To be honest, this program is a godsend just for its ability to erase a previously burnt disc. That is a surprisingly rare feature, and increases the reusability of your discs.
