Five Nights at Freddy's was a revolution in horror, whether or not people are willing to admit it because of its popularity and fandom. It proved that you don't need a high budget to be engaging, as the animatronics with all their different personality and approaches gave it surprisingly dynamic gameplay despite not moving or using more than the same buttons. C.H.A.S.E.D takes a lot from it while also doing some unique things of itself.
To play C.H.A.S.E.D, you just need to unzip all the files and run the executable.
The gameplay loop is very similar to FNAF. You have to survive from midnight to 6 AM by fending off various entities that are out to get you, each with a unique gimmick. In this demo, there are only two you need to worry about - the stalker and the weeping woman. The stalker will circle around the outside of your house to try and break in - you need to track him down and shine a light at him through windows to scare him off. The weeping woman will act like the ghost from the Grudge and crawl through your active television - you need to turn off the TV to stop her from getting through. If they get through, you can do little but hide in a closet and pray they don't find you before it hits 6 AM.
The biggest change, of course, is how large the house is. It isn't like FNAF where you just have one room - you need to get familiar with the layout of your house to stay on top of things.
If any of that sounds interesting to you, then you should give C.H.A.S.E.D a download.
