Most modern browsers actually don't move as fast as they could - as they were built for the previous generation, their infrastructure isn't as streamlined as they could be. Enter Cyberfox, a browser that is built for the x64 system, letting it take advantage of the more modern software to the maximum, or so they say. Based on the Firefox browser, it promises to work faster, better, and more securely than its progenitor. Does it deliver?
Installing Cyberfox is incredibly simple. There are only two things of note - one page asks which browser you should import all your bookmarks from. You should choose your main browser here. A second page tells you to download a ton of extra stuff that you more than likely won't need. Read each option carefully, though. Multiple language packs are here on this screen and you may accidentally disable it.
There's a ton of background features that most won't notice but do improve the speed of loading. You can have it fast restart caches on browser restart, which will automatically clear your cache and lead to faster performance overall. You can also deactivate automatic image loading to boost loading speed even more, opting for manual image loading, and there's a special Flash Player protection mode to prevent flash from potentially opening a vulnerability.
There isn't much to talk about in regards to its interface - it looks almost exactly like Firefox. In my tests, it beat Firefox in various fields - the only one that it lost was using the special Octane benchmarking tool. With that in mind, it's easy to recommend Cyberfox.
