Most people are probably really good at multitasking - hell, that's almost an essential skill when it comes to today's society. Although no doubt we've become incredibly accomplished at it, it isn't a show of weakness to admit that it gets overwhelming sometimes. A scheduler is what many of us need to keep our daily lives in order. Nowadays, not too many people use the pen-and-paper scheduler anymore and have moved to digital - one of them is EssentialPIM Pro.

Installing EssentialPIM Pro is a straightforward process - there aren't many bonus options you can take. As soon as you boot it up, there will be a nag screen informing you that this is a trial version. What the pro version of EssentialPIM has over its free counterpart are that - obviously - there are a bunch of features that aren't available in the free version. Namely, cloud support, data synchronization, multi-user access, secure advanced encryption, global cross-linking, a global search function, desktop sticky notes, calendar filtering/editing, and more. There's so many, in fact, that they've included a full feature list on their website detailing the exact differences, and the number is staggering.

The program is easy to use as well. There are a bunch of tabs that you can edit - Calendar, To Do, Notes, Contacts, Mails, Passwords, and Trash. Each of these is self-explanatory - though I found myself using the calendar and to do more than the others. They do exactly what they sound like, you can schedule things on your calendar or simply create a to-do list to remind yourself throughout a specific day. EssentialPIM Pro is an easy recommend for, at the very least, giving a trial run.
