Friday Night Funkin' was a smash hit when it came out over a year ago, and took the gaming scene by storm. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. Even now, its modding community is still going strong for a good reason. The incredible modability along with the relatively simple engine lends it incredibly well to modders. The community has created some amazing mods, and one of the higher quality ones out there is Friday Night Funkin': VS Monika.EXE.

To install Friday Night Funkin': VS Monika.EXE, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod features a ton of weeks that unlock in sequence much like the original vanilla game. It features the cast from Doki Doki Literature Club that are warped by the virus from Sonic.Exe. This leads to a lot of unsettling imagery and jumpscares that pop out when you hit some phantom notes that are designed to shake you off of your game. This game also features a mod called 7 keys where you have to deal with a completely different control scheme on top of being jump scared.

This mod also uses the Psych Engine, meaning most of the hit registration issues that you'll find in the base unmodded vanilla game that are rampant are fixed. You won't find any random misses on notes you clearly hit and your stats will also be tracked live in the bottom.
