Geneshift 1.0

Geneshift is a top down shoot 'em up game where you not only get to use a host of different weapons but you can also drive cars and if you have a colleague around to stand out of the sunroof and throw grenades or launch rockets then driving the car is brilliant and brutal fun.

The game has a nostalgic quality to it and is sometimes reminiscent of classic Amiga games but it’s also a lot of fun (not to imply Amiga games weren’t fun), at first we had a little difficulty getting in to it as you start out with only a knife to defend yourself against these gun wielding enemies, but once you get the hang of hiding and then knifing your foe it’s a lot of fun and you will start finding guns to level the playing field very soon after taking down the first couple of enemies.

Lots of weapons can be found in Geneshift but using the shotgun to explode enemies with powerful shots is one of the most fun things in the game and if you can find that shotgun make sure you grab it!
