Flash games were the precursors to many parts of the gaming industry today. The creativity and willingness to experiment has translated over to the indie games industry, many design elements that are used in AAA games today were first observed in flash games, and the casual nature of many flash games has translated over to the mobile game industry. One formula, top down shooters, really started in flash games. One of them was Decision 3.

This game takes a lot of cues from the medieval entry of the series. This game has finally perfected the formula, making it a gold standard of survival shooter that somehow hasn't been replicated often. The writing is one of the weaker aspects of the game, but thankfully, that's not the focus as gameplay is one of the best out there.

The game is divided into several locations with a hub location called the Reservation camp. You also have to save some survivors every once in a while, and it's in these moments that the survival aspect truly shines. Nothing beats having to backpedal against a zombie horde while trying to skirt around them as a useless survivor follows you around.

All in all, Decision 3 is more of the same, but a simple change of setting is enough to make it completely unique.
