Herobrine's Mansion 1.7

Minecraft is an endless font of possibilities, with there being maps created ever day that push the boundary of what you can do with the game. There are story-driven fantasy maps, massive open-world sci-fi maps and many others. One popular subgenre of Minecraft maps are Horror games. One of the better ones is Herobrine's Mansion.

There are quite a few settings you need to make sure you have if you try to play Herobrine's Mansion on a server - the way it's intended. You'll need the following server settings:

• DO NOT USE BUKKIT
• allow-flight=true
• spawn-animals=false
• pvp=false
• enable-command-block=true
• view-distance=12
• spawn-npcs=true

Once you boot this map up, you'll find that there is actually a storyline. As you approach the village around the mansion, you'll find that it's under attack. From there, you'll journey to the mansion. This map features six different, unique bosses that all require different strategies in order to take down. This map also features shops, unique items, and elite monsters.

For instance, for one of the bosses, you must purchase a powerful bow from the villagers. You also need to splash the boss with Holy Water to weaken him and take him down. The boss is almost impossible to defeat without these very specific strategies. 

On top of bosses, there are also multiple secret, hidden rooms that hold great loot, so it rewards exploration as well. If this sounds like your kind of thing, then you should give Herobrine's Mansion a download. It's short, only about 1-2 hours long, but it's incredibly high quality.
