Adventure Time is one of the most well known in the country, with it charming thousands. However, despite the potential of the world, there hasn't been a proper Adventure Time open-world RPG created yet where you can properly explore the world from the ground. The last place you'd expect to find something like that is as a Minecraft mod, but lo and behold - Minecraft: Adventure Time came out.
To install Minecraft: Adventure Time, simply drag the map into your maps folder and you should be able to play it.
The main defining feature of this map is, of course, the map itself. It utilizes custom textures to recreate the world of Adventure Time. It has every major landmark featured by the show, although the creator has understandably taken some liberties with the areas in between said landmarks.
Not only that, but the creator has also added a ton of different challenges that are all based off of events in the actual show. These include actual episodes such as They Went to the Nightosphere, Beautopia, Trouble in Lumpy Space, and much more.
Unfortunately, there are no NPCs in the world, making it feel a little more lifeless than a vibrant world like Adventure Time deserves. However, that's somewhat reasonable, as having to texture such a diverse cast would have been going far beyond. If you like Adventure Time, you should definitely give Minecraft: Adventure Time a download. The tons of different landmarks will make your day if you were attached to the show like so many others.
