High Noon Revolver demo is a throwback to classic arcade games of the 80’s, it’s a western themed side scroller, fast paced shoot ‘em up and you have to be quick because the enemies in this game are relentless and they appear fast.
The year is 1850 and you are the Sheriff’s apprentice Wesley (or you can choose from a couple of other characters too) who after witnessing the murder of the Sheriff of your usually peaceful town in an attack by outlaws, the leader of the outlaws informed Wesley that they will return in thirty days to take every treasure the peaceful town has, so what does Wesley do he trains every day to avenge his Sheriff’s death and then at High Noon he sets out to take on the outlaws.
And this is where you join the story playing as Wesley or one of the other townspeople and your mission is to fight off all the bad guys and protect your town.
Whilst High Noon Revolver is rather retro and the graphics very pixelated making it look like a very old arcade game or something you may have played on a commodore 64 it is undeniably fun and addictive and provides you with a level of challenge that will have you coming back for more each time that you die.
There is nothing particularly new or innovative about High Noon Revolver but if you want something that will remind you of the heady days of early internet games and provides with some fast and fun shooting action.
