With all of the websites we visit each and every day, it becomes hard to remember all of the different passwords we use at all of these websites. Not only that, but email client passwords, Windows login passwords, FTP client passwords - a lot of the time we choose different passwords for different types of security purposes. KeePass is a password manager with the purpose of helping you find your passwords and help you securely retrieve these passwords when you need them.
It is also highly recommended not to use the same password for everything. For those of us who don't, it becomes hard to remember all of the different passwords we use for all of the different things we do. Yes, it would be easier just using one password, but then you run the risk of losing access to all of your important information with just one password. That's just too risky.
Get some help remembering your passwords with a secure utility that's got your back. KeePass will find and give you access to your passwords securely on your computer if you, by chance, forgot your password for specific circumstances.
The software is free to use and, best of all, is open source. KeePass will allow you to manage your passwords in a secure, encrypted way which is locked in one highly encrypted master key file on your personal computer. Those of us that are worried about our security and use many different passwords for different types of things - this application is very helpful for keeping and secure all of our password in one place with easy access.
