Monster Hunter LTD Part 2 1.0

DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything.  From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods that can all do different things. However, there are also simpler mods called WADs that are simply maps. One of them is Monster Hunter LTD Part 2.

To install Monster Hunter LTD Part 2, you need to have GZDoom. Then, copy the .pk3 file into the GZDoom folder and drag it on top of the GZDoom.exe to start playing.

This map is as similarly detailed as the first part, but in a different way. The monsters start this episode off by wrecking your city, and you have to fight through ruined city streets. Didy put slightly less effort into the details of this map, but there's honestly only so much one can do with ruins before it gets repetitive. It's interesting playing through a different version of the same map you played through.

Thankfully, the decreased detail makes it much easier to find your way through levels than it was in the first part. And it's not like there isn't spectacle to be had - picking your way through the area glimpsed at the end of part 1 is endlessly engaging and the map is filled with pools of blood and the like. 

Overall, Monster Hunter LTD Part 2 is an incredible map that any DOOM fan should give a shot.
