If you are looking for creating and/or editing a Windows Installer package, you will need Microsoft's Orca.exe software. Commonly referred to simply as "Orca", it provides users with the ability to utilize Microsoft's Windows Installer software for their own use, whatever that may be by providing package installation and removal, as well as maintenance on any or all .MSI files. It is important to note that in order to use this software, some database knowledge is recommended.
Orca is basically your access to Microsoft's well known Windows Installer packages. This enables you to create and editing your own Windows Installer packages for your own use, perhaps for your own benefit or providing others with a simple to use installer for your provided software. It doesn't just support basic databases in MSI files, but also has the ability to merge modules (MSM), database patches and transforms (MSP and MST), validation modules (CUB), or patch creation (PCP).

You will be able to gain full access of the tables and data streams the the databases with in each file and edit them with in the software itself. You also have the option to import and export databases. The software can only benefit you, with with the proper knowledge is a powerful tool for any user.
Make sure you understand that the contents of each file are very sensitive and its important that you understand how to create and edit these databases so you do not potentially corrupt the files you are attempting to create.
