Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs 1.0

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs demo is a side scrolling arcade style action shooter game based on classic 80’s anime cartoons and the intro sequence makes you feel as if you are about to watch one, it’s really well designed and the voice acting is great but on to the important part the game itself is simple yet incredibly addictive and although this is only a one level demo version it’s not easy to get too far without dying, it the controls are simple enough to pick up and you may think you’re doing quite well but the enemies start to come thick and fast along with random robotic horse stampedes where you will need to find some higher ground to avoid being trampled on!

The graphics are fairly basic but they only add to the charm of Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, the fast paced action will have you coming back to it time and again and if the demo is this hard to put down then the full game is going to be outstanding if retro shooters is your kind of thing then you can’t really go wrong with this the only negative is that it can become a little repetitive after a while but if you want to blow off some steam and shoot a plethora of bad guys this is the place to be, the western style back drop mixed with the futuristic style of the protagonist and the enemies is also a very cool contrast.
