Minecraft is an endless font of possibilities, with there being maps created ever day that push the boundary of what you can do with the game. There are story-driven fantasy maps, massive open-world sci-fi maps and many others. Minecraft map makers are constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible with the game. One of the more interesting ones out there is Soulbound.
Installing Soulbound is simple and straightforward - just put it into your map folder and run it when you open the game.
To even begin playing this game, you need a second player. This map is specifically designed for two players. Every single puzzle in the game needs you two to work together. The two players have some different roles in combat as well. Player 1 is equipped with a bow at all times, and Player 2 is equipped with a sword at all times. Player 1 is also the only one that can initiate dialogue with the townspeople, and answer them by clicking the chat. Each of these two players have a separate resource pack that must be downloaded, found here. All the puzzles are also designed for multiple people. There are certain puzzles that also require both players use their abilities to solve them.
This map also features 4 bossfights with mechanics designed for both players with roles to do. It has 7-10 hours of gameplay as well.
If you have a friend and love playing Minecraft with them, you should definitely give Soulbound a download. It's a solid little co-op experience.
