Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Some used the medium to tell incredible stories. One of these series was Reisen. Let's look at one of the entries: SPQR Ep. 3.

The gameplay is rather simple. It's very straightforward and is reminiscent of pretty much every single point and click adventure game ever made. You click to move around, click on items to interact with them, and use them to eventually progress. Gameplay wise, there is nothing special.

The story is quite unique. Caesar has now assumed the position of dictator, and nobody can stop him from implementing all of his reforms. He is also gearing up to take out the Parthian Empire, which has been an ancient enemy of Rome. If he conquers them, the public will love him as well. Jitter, in the meantime, is training to do her best to help Caesar to the best of her abilities, but she is definitely not the main character despite being the perspective character.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then SPQR Ep. 3 is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
