Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Some used the medium to tell incredible stories. One of these series was Reisen. Let's look at one of the entries: SPQR Ep. 8.

The gameplay is rather simple. It's very straightforward and is reminiscent of pretty much every single point and click adventure game ever made. You click to move around, click on items to interact with them, and use them to eventually progress. Gameplay wise, there is nothing special.

The story is quite unique. Just like in history, a big part of the intrigue of this episode is Antonius and Octavius's tension. They've decided to split Rome up, but Antonius is very much still willing to backstab his fellow ruler for a chance to take over for good. He goes to Egypt to be relatively safe, and Jitter needs to make a choice.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then SPQR Ep. 8 is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
